Alimenta a tus Magikarp Rare Candies.
Derrota a Groudon o Kyogre (Alpha Sapphire y Omega Ruby).

WGAR does these as on air questions and they don't start to air them until 5:30 AM. By that time I am on my way to the bus. Here is my joke: Bitches 'til the End The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, 'I've got some bad news.. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order.' The woman was shocked but managed to compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting. 'Well, daughter, we women celeb rate when things are good, and we Celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer. So, let's head to the club and have a martini.' After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who were c! urious as to what the two were celebrating. The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end, 'I've been diagnosed with AIDS.' The friends were aghast, gave the woman their condolences and beat a hasty retreat. After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered, 'Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, and you just told your friends you were dying of AIDS! Why did you do that??' 'Because I don't want any of those bitches sleeping with your father after I'm gone.' And THAT, my friends, is what is called, 'Putting Your Affairs In Order'Stay warm, stay safe, stay happy and stay healthy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Gotta go catch the bus now.stagelady/eileen***Edit*** Speedo - I don't copy the answers. I actually listen to the radio all day to collect them. What country to study abroad in?
Florencio Dingle: There are any other inquiries to reply right here first: one million. Is this for institution or prime college? two. Are you comfy no longer realizing the local tongue? three. Do you must use the repute of the college you pass to as a resume object one day? If you desire the typical reply right here it's: If for institution, unfold your wings and seem to a none local language college. The Europeans were utilizing English because the language of industrial for a pair hundred years now. You will continuously uncover anyone to speak to in English in a pinch, however the submersion enjoy is high-quality should you desire to decide on-up yet another language. Though I would present that finding out Spanish will do extra for then you definately realizing Swedish... If for prime college, persist with what you realize, and do not set your self up for failure seeking to decide on up yet another language at the same time you're finding out overseas. This is as muc! h as you regardless that, as you would very good have the bandwidth to manipulate regardless. If you're watching to make use of the enjoy as a resume object one day, I could propose watching extra on the colleges and their methods, than which nation they're in. Whatever you make a decision don't forget that Europe is particularly no longer all that tremendous; correctly, travelling amongst nations is plenty like travelling among states within the US. Would it be more beneficial for a Special Education Teacher to know Sign Language or Spanish?
Bailey Lares: From one Special Education teacher to an aspiring one ... neither would be bad to know, however, with over 1/3 of the population of North America speaking Spanish I would opt first to learn Spanish. With a working knowledge of Spanish you will be able to meet the needs of more students and their families than with sign language. Special education and paperwork?
Enriqueta Steffen: It is difficult and I am often in trouble for not keeping up with the paperwork. I choose to spend my time serving my students.Other teachers have no idea how much paperwork there is and how time consuming it is. They think it is similar to the higher number of papers/test they grade. If you are lucky, you have an administrator who understands the importance of the paperwork and gives you more time to do it during the day.I often do IEPs at home so I can spend more time with kids at school. Because my time with students is generally positive and rewarding, I focus on that as the reason to do the paperwork....Show more
Cortez Badolato: I agree that it does sometimes feel as if you are drowning in paperwork and the amount is often far greater than anyone knows. It is a very important part of the job and the trick is knowing how to balance it with actual teaching. Both aspects are equally important to the overall effectiveness of a Special Educa! tion teacher.Besides the lesson plans which every teacher needs to do, the special ed staff must :administer and write assessments, complete revaluation forms and state/federal forms, write IEPs, compile portfolios for students on alternative assessments, etc. Each of these tasks are often under very strict timelines for individual students, so it can be stressful in that sense; however, a good teacher will know her deadlines well in advance and plan for them accordingly. Organization is the key to making the paperwork manageable. I have come up with my own "tracking system" via charts and tables on Word and Excel. I will show them with the teachers I supervise, but I urge them to develop some that works for them. They don't have to use my format, but I expect to see some form of paperwork organization; not for my needs, but so each teacher will ultimately find the right balance necessary for him or her to be effective and happy in the position....Show more

What does Quotations means?
Jacinta Moitoso: Quotation is basically means 'expression' or 'statementSo when they are saying 'Favourite quotations?' it basically means 'Favourite expression? or 'Favourite statement?'
Son Ahlers: Quotations is a phrase or saying someone used and other people "quote' or use it too usually because people like the sentence very much.
Woodrow Neyman: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/quotation-This might help.Quotations are Quotes from books, movies etc. It's a phrase someone said.
Jannette Kotz: Yes, quotations are the same as quotes.I'm not sure about the facebook thing but some people put little mottos like::'A broken heart, a twisted mind'orIf you asked me how many times you crossed my mind, I would say once because you never really left it.Random, I know but it was what some person put.Alternatively, you could quote from a film or a book like::'I'll Be Back'or'Romeo, Romeo, where for art thou Romeo?'Again, random, I couldn't think of anything e! lse!Or you could just leave it blank, like I did. xxxHope I helped, Kayleigh Please answer my question xxhttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmEDj......Show more

Douglass Sarley: Primary And Secondary Sources Games
Arleen Bussing: Primary sources are written by the scientists that performed the experiment and are writing about it. They are normally found in peer-reviewed journals. Your example is of a primary source. Primary sources can cite other articles, but must be based on novel research. Secondary sources are commonly found in general magazines and newspapers in the science sections. They cite original research, and contribute nothing new or original to the report.

Why do you think that university education in the USA is so much more expensive than pretty much anywhere?
Scot Rotruck: It's just the way it is.. I'm too used to it cause it's where I grew up. But there are always plenty of scholarships/loans to take out.Education in the US is a meritocracy. You only get through it financially if you're completely serious. If you're not.. then you probably just won't graduate. But that's a good thing. If you're not determined then I don't believe you deserve the benefits of having a degree. If you are committed to succeeding you will make it work and find the money you need from the government etc.. You are mistaken in thinking that education is not subsidized. Most every person that goes to college is eligible for federal low-interest loans. I borrowed 12k, and I only have to pay $140 a month for 10 years. Not bad for a having a good job cause of my education and doubling my income that I had on a high school diploma. There are programs where the governement will forgive these loans if one participates in certain fields of work for so many y! ears. For those in desperate financial need, with the proper documentation, can get federal grants.College is not just for the rich, it is for the intelligent and the determined. The cost is high.. but there are so many options to what college/university you can attend. You can attend somewhere as inexpensive as $1500 a year or $50,000 a semester. It's your choice. Also, I like the idea of health care that has to be paid for. It means that those that are able to pay for it are guaranteed care BEFORE those that cannot.. i.e. illegal aliens. DO NOT start on my case about me being against poor people. I'm not. I was raised relatively poor, but we were not eligible for food stamps. There is a wide spread problem with people especially aliens, abusing food stamps and government assistance. they recieve brand name products when they go grocery shopping while I.. who actually applied myself.. shop on the low end to save money for other things. They come in to buy wedding cakes and! premaid party platters with their food stamps. They're suppos! ed to be buying staples and things they NEED but they just abuse the money I pay to taxes with my hard work. It makes me sick. THOSE are the people that I am talking about that get care AFTER me because I pay my hard earned money instead of someone elses for health care.I do not like the idea that foreigners come to the country and live on my tax dollars and clog up an emergency room with 15 kids that have runny noses due to allergies or something stupid just because they're are so uneducated as to know that if 15 kids have the same running nose with clear discharge that they should just go home.Ok I'll stop ranting..My education would've cost me like $45,000 but I got scholarships and loans (some forgiven) and I only owe like $11,000.. but I got a good job cause of it.The problem with open admissions and free and subsidized education is that the actual value of education is diminished. If everyone is allowed to attend the same program then there is absolutely no competitiv! eness garnered.. it's kind of a waste of time actually. that's what makes college in the US a commodity. Only those that are serious enough to succeed will succeed. It's how everyone should be. If college was free and open, every retard would be in it. that's not how it's supposed to be.And FYI.. at my university my professors were NOT paid 6 figure incomes. The deans were paid maybe under $100,000 and the profs frequently ranted about how they did their job for the love of educating not for the money. One of my lab teachers made about $10 an hour and she had a doctorate degree. I make more than she does just with my high school diploma. And that university was funded by the state as well as privately.Don't start with stereotyping salaries. It depends on the school.NOT TO MENTION MEDICAL DOCTORS ONLY HAVE TO GO FOR FOUR YEARS TO BE A DOCTOR AND SURGEON IN EUROPE. I'm sorry.. but I'd jump off a cliff before someone did surgery on me with only 4 post secondary years of educati! on. That's like committing suicide in itself....Show more
Ulrike ! Hert: A Real American; oops, wrong. I'm British, and have lived in numerous European countries. And most have free or subsidized university education. Er, please define "most foreign students", because that is quite a few hundred million per year. Or could it be that you are actually a typical know-nothing American who talks out of his ar$e?
Adan Stribble: Professors, Deans, school administrators, and university coaches are paid 6 figure salaries, some even million dollar salaries (Mack Brown earns $5.1 million a year)....and people wonder why colleges are cutting programs and raising tuition and fees.Google "top paid college football coaches" "top paid college deans" and "highest paid college employees"...Show more
Barton Sease: If Mexico, derided for a very good reason, is so great. Immigrate there. I will help pay Your travel expenses, If You never come back. But You would come back, would You not.
Alisa Kaleiwahea: Mainly because of shows like Spon! gebob
Kris Bozelle: Its when you consider that America does no longer wish each and every one to visit tuition. If each and every one went to tuition who could opt for up trash? who could paintings at Mc Donalds? who could be stripers? who could do maual exertions?
Lino Cawthorne: Dan; I live in Australia thanks, but I have been to Mexico. It's very nice. PS, you need to learn when to use capital letters in a sentence.
Irma Poiter: AppleLady,Your comments about doctors in Europe are highly ignorant.1. Different European countries have different university systems and different degree lengths.2. In most countries it's acutally 5 years to become a doctor.3. You forget that the level of secondary education in pretty much all of Europe is much higher than that in the USA. In countries like the UK, Ireland, etc., students leaving school at 17 are on average as educated as someone with a four-year basic degree in the United States. A lot of American students goi! ng to college need help READING, for God's sake. Also, there is HUGE com! petition for college places in Europe. Much more, in fact, than in the US, because it's purely academic competition. It doesn't matter whether you're rich or poor. So it's actually over HERE that the intelligent and determined are the people getting in. College courses are much harder to get into over here than in the US.A Real American,The reason that a lot of Europeans who get the opportunity go to America for education is not because American education is of a higher standard, but because ALMOST ANYONE CAN GET IN. In the US, you can get in to do a chemistry degree after doing an ACT in chemistry - which doesn't even require a CALCULATOR! Doesn't that say it all? The people who go to the US for education from Europe are the thick, rich people....Show more
Johnny Sirko: You have never lived in Europe, you would not know. Not to mention, education in Mexico sucks...that is why it is free. You must be a citizen, and have above B's in all classes to get subsidized educati! on in some European countries. It is not free, and is not near as good as the education in the USA.Didn't you ever wonder why most foreign students come to the US if they have the chance? They want a good education....Show more

preschool class too long?
Oscar Waddups: I forgot to mention that she has only gone twice so far so I'm wondering how long it will take for her to be able to stay the whole time
Bennie Lantgen: Yeah, but it could also be: allergies, (common, get it checked out in order to know), or dehydration. Does she drink enough WATER?? (some people think a juice box a day is enough, it isn't)Cream is ok, but better is aloe vera. Put it on at night too, because when we sleep that's when our skin dehydrates the most, especially in winter (indoor air quality is very dry).
Randa Hessell: I don't think it usually is, but it sounds like a pretty different school, and not one I would have my child in for a few reasons. When the parents are there, often the children don't pay attention as much, don't get excited about the activities, and will get it in their heads to go home or otherwise take advantage of the parents' presence. When you do a drop off, they're upset for a tiny bit first thing, but then are! usually pretty manageable for the teachers, and they're paying attention to the activities and learning more. Also, at 2 and a half years old, going three hours cooped up in the same setting can be tiring. My kids' classes start out playing outside, settle into the classroom, then go back outside after lunch. The teacher suggested to you that it's okay to leave early, but you know, you're paying for the school, and you should have her in a school she likes enough to make it worth her while and worth your money.I don't know, I just don't think the whole setup sounds that great for such young children. They should usually be able to handle the 3.5 hour day pretty well....Show more

Jonathan Schlussel: It's always fun to snuggle up and watch a movie together or read to each other. Give each other make overs (if it's a girl), or draw silly pictures.
Dionna Doyel: My 4 year old hasn't been interested in much I have suggested. So far we took a walk in the rain with our rain coats and umbrellas and made "raindrop art". Paint paper with washable water paint in big colorful splotches then set it out in the rain for a few minutes then hang! it up to dry. It makes a streaky water washed stained glass effect. Any other good ideas?
Booker Moros: Keep a diary of all the things he does and take it to the hearing and show the judge and if he smokes pot that is a Major strike against him. And if he is all the things your saying if you do not make him pay any child support then he shouldn't have any right to your child.
Filiberto Ranalli: see your therapist & lawyer for real advice. work closely with a mediator at mending the father's relationship with the child -if safe. NEVER speak poorly of him -this is a gift you can give the child who didn't ask for your personal problems.
Phil Kuarez: This is another weird one for me.What is the school's philosophy on the parent's staying at pre-school? I thought pre-school was to help them get ready to be in elementary without the parent? In any event, if this is your child's first couple of times there and you are there as well, then something isn't righ! t. I felt it wasn't right when the parents had to stay. Maybe you shoul! d take her out and find a more suitable environment for your child....Show more
Monroe Rainey: Get out of the preschool program and look for a mom and child playgroup. You could even start your own.Children at that age just need time to play and explore. You most likely also need some social time with other parents.
Josefine Weekey: My son is 5 and in preschool. At his school it is 2 1/2 hours 3 days a week. I do not have to stay. If he is potty trained then there are some that will take him when he is over 3. But sounds like a long time for a 2 1/2 yr oldI would look into it...sounds like a glorified play group.
Marvella Benward: Both my kids get it -- my son gets patches that are sort of raised, redder than the surrounding skin, and rough to the touch. My daughter gets the same but will also get strips that are raw, tender/shiny looking, pink to red in color but they aren't rough and bumpy. If either of these sound like your child's skin, then it very we! ll could be eczema. My kids flare in the winter but others flare when they are sweaty/in the summer. What we do -- wash with non-scented wash. Eucerin makes an unscented baby wash/shampoo combo that is very gentle. Lotion up, with non-scented creams, after bathing and several times throughout the day, especially if you're trying to get rid of existing patches. Aveeno baby is a good light cream, for when the problem isn't bad, and Eucerin is good for when it's bad or you're trying to protect/prevent. If you have a bad spot, or want to prevent a spot you know is coming, for us this is my kids' cheeks every day in the winter, after you put the lotion on, sweep a layer of aquaphor on top of it. You can use A&D ointment or even plain Vaseline but we like Aquaphor the best. It's goopy and a pain with lint but it really does help get rid and prevent. In fact, I just finished gooping up my son before bed. :)Another good product is Mustela's Stelatopia cream (you can get it at Babies! R Us). When my son was a baby this was the only cream his skin could t! olerate without breaking out in further rashes. It's pricer than the rest, may $15 a tube, but a little goes a long way, it's not as goopy as Eucerin and it really helps. I liked it much better as an everyday all-body cream than Eucerin and for a long time Aveeno made my son rashy in and of itself so this cream was a huge find for us....Show more

Robin Tommie: ITS NOT A LONG TIME BECAUSE MY BROTHERS IS AN 8 HR PRE-SCHOOL. MAYBE UR DAUGHTER HAS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL OR SOMETHING.
Cole Desher: Rainy days may seem dull and boring sometimes but there are activities to do on rainy days. Look at this link you might find some, here they have these kits which are very fun to do on any day and are not expensive what so ever, and if these still donât work make sure you play a board game or something like hide and seek.
Jerald Florence: my 6 month daughter actually had eczema, so i know the signs of it, does your childs skin get itchy for them and does their skin hurt, like the areas have open sores on them? if not then its no eczema, its just mostly dry skin, if naything could be an allergy, is your child using something different on their skin, as a different soap or shampoo or body wash, maybe a perfume and new type of clothing, your child could be having a skin reaction to ! something
Dallas Bartolini: well i think that stupid
Ruby M! artis: If all you say is true there is no way a judge is going to award total custody to that man...not even half...he will get visitation rights if he is the father but if you filed and have proof of the abuse it will be supervised. Courts do not want to take children away from their mothers and will work with you. My fear would be him taking her illegally...which could be what he is saying. Get the orders and get yourself and your child to a safe place...I am sure it is your place and you pay the bills..but you are better off going somewhere safe for I really fear he has other plans.I have dealt with this 4 times with families in my center...If you have your child in school talk to her teachers see if they will help tell a social worker what they see.....be careful but get her away from him..if he is doing this stuff in front of you what is he doing when your not there...My prayers are with you....Show more
Piedad Bassiti: The skin is dry...like barren land, you know! .No rashes or swellings or anything. But the roughness wont go.Applying cream will work for some hours and again the skin is dry.Any comments? Thanks!

Aveeno makes an oatmeal, lavender, and ylang ylang bubble bath that works really good, my skin is so soft after I soak in it and it's very soothing.Yes, I also second upping her water intake! It is very important for anyone to drink enough water.
Tricia Dossous: You could try playing dolls, pretend to be animals, bake cookies, watch movie, color, read a book, or make fruit loop necklaces.
Indira Wassell: Yea, you really need to deal with him! For your safety get help, it's not! good for him living there. Just kick him out, he can't take your daugh! ter away if he smokes put and has no job.
Lana Uliano: I'm glad to hear that you finally woke up decided not to make your oldest daughter go through that any longer then she already has. Keep a log of every time he does or says something abusive date time what was done or said and why(what set him off). If you have already filed a protection order then that will be helpful. More than likely you will get custody he might get visitations but given his violent history and depending on the reason he gets SSI(any mental illnesses) they will most likely be supervised visits but you have to pay out of pocket for an outside source to supervise the visits. It is hard to get the courts to order drug testing you would have to really push for it. If possible you should hire an attorney. But I wouldn't worry to much given his violent history odds are in your favor. Just don't ever lift that protective order then the court will look at it as you really aren't that scared. Every tim! e he violates the order file a report DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!!!! I cannot stress that enough. Good Luck!!!!...Show more
Hal Rouse: there is not any dazzling or incorrect answer. You gotta do what you sense is powerful on your loved ones. My son is going to teach 5 in a pair of months. He has been in daycare considering that he became right into a million. i'm in college so i did no longer have a call. he's an purely new child so being with different young ones became into sturdy for him. he's likewise very based on recurring. If I had waited to deliver him to daycare or permit him be around others then it could have been a bad ask your self for him to be thrown in there for pre-ok. that's him however and all young ones react in yet in any different case to circumstances. that's not too previous due. you will desire to deliver him once you're waiting, yet make the transition undemanding on him. permit him pass section time someplace till he gets used to being faraway fro! m you. do no longer permit human beings stress you into it. you realize! the way you new child behaves and reacts to issues. Take that into attention whilst making your determination. here the place i'm at they start kindergarten at 5, and preschool at 4. Preschool isn't necessary for the district. it ought to be for you adult males. you are able to verify with the district. If a new child is available in at 5 he starts with the different 5 year olds. that's going to be the comparable there. till that's a private employer with that's own regulations. As for little ones staying jointly for 2 years. that would not make experience to me. young ones come and pass from his classification each and all of the time, and he would not have any problems with it. they do no longer likely make sturdy attatchments to one yet another at that age. sturdy success adult males. young ones comply with new circumstances rather honestly. they are extra resiliant than we predict of on occasion....Show more

Is Early Childhood Education Educator the same as Preschool teaching?
Maria Devenney: We had just transitioned children up from the classrooms. I had about four new kids in my room as well as about five other kids that did not move out of my room. Well, a child with autism, and three other kids moved in. It was quite an adjustment for all. I kept smelling poop, and all of a sudden there was poop on the tile, but I had no idea where it came from. I checked the kids and could not find where it came from. So we are having free choice time, the kids are getting acclimated to the room, and one of the kids says come over here, there's something yucky. I am thinking a bug. Nope, there's poop on my chair. And then the autistic girl tells me that she was playing with it, squeezing it. So I had to clean her up, and find the the source of the poop! It was a nightmare. I was so worked up, and stressed that I did not call the director in! I about lost it that day. Another thing that just came to mind, was a child went home saying that he learned the wor! d "Damn it" at school. So the mom sends me an e-mail and wants to know what this is all about, and how it was handled. So I call her because I don't want to talk about it through e-mail. Come to find out, I was not there when the incident took place. She said that her child told her that the teachers did not do anything when the child said the word. She wanted to know if we called parents when this happened. I explained to her that we try to deal with the behavior at school because that is where it happened. If it happened repeatedly, we might then call a parent. But in the incident that she was talking about, I was not even there... and she was really upset that it was not handled correctly. I told her that we try not to make a lot of attention about the bad word, because many times that is what kids want. We try to change the word into something we can say like, oh popsicles, or let the child help come up with something. We tell them that they said a word that isn't nice,! we do not say it at school. Usually the child forgets it or m! oves on to something else. I have never had to talk to a parent about this, because the child never says it repeatedly. They see what the reaction will be and they move on. The parent was not happy with my answer, and said she was going to speak with the director. I sent out an article on how to handle inappropriate language, and it said the same thing as I described to the parent, and she let it go....Show more
Foster Koopmann: Early Childhood Educator, Preschool Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher are all the same :)
Julieta Suleiman: An early childhood educator includes preschool teacher. There are other early childhood educators. That term would include teacher assistants, some media specialists, some administrators, day care workers, etc. Many of these jobs like principal (an administrator), media specialist, etc., would be held by people who may also work with older students. In some areas, preschool refers to students age 3 and 4. Early childhood education may i! nclude younger children (infants and toddlers) and kindergarden. In some places, the term would be include primary education, which generally includesup through grade 2.Look at certifications for the best jobs as you look at career options. You can work in some daycare centers with little training and not much job security or much pay or benefits. Think about getting certified with a college degree in early childhood education. If you get certified to work with children with special needs, you can find a job more easily and likely be paid more since you will probably need an extra degree (masters). Look at the varying level of education that various early childhood education jobs require. Getting certifications for work in public schools can lead to jobs with great benefits. You don't need as much certification if you plan to open your own day care center but you also won't make a lot of money usually. So go for it! Consider getting a bachelor's degree in early childhood ! education and get extra certifications in ESOL, Special ed, etc., and y! ou will likely be able to find a steady job with decent pay. Special ed teachers are always in short supply. And all educators make a difference in people's lives.Make sure that you meet license requirements. You will also need a clean record with law enforcement.I do strongly suggest that you do some volunteer or paid work in the area before you get too far. Help at a daycare or at church or school or with some community group. This isn't a field for everyone. It takes a lot of patience. The career can be emotionally rewarding and emotionally draining. Also, it is not one of the higher paying fields. Pay rises as you get extra degrees and experience.Talk to a school counselor or someone else about career options. You need interest and ability test info. You also very much need to look job outlook in the area where you want to live when you are ready to work. Many people spend a lot of effort and time and money getting trained for jobs that aren't there. You need to write! out goals and plans for something like 2 years, 5 years, 10 years. Actually you need a dream plan, a back up plan, and another back up plan. These plans need to be updated and revised regularly. Consider time and money. It is great that you are looking at career options. So many young people are so caught up in their daily lives that they forget that they will be young only a few years. They will be adults a long time.Plan now to be happy later!Good luck and God bless you! Our children need good educators. This is sometimes not seen as a career of great prestige, but it certainly one of the most important jobs in any society. You change the future....Show more
Rick Duchane: Early childhood Education may include you having a BA degree in Early Childhood Education which would include you teaching at the elementary level until 8 years old. Once you receive your children center permit you may work as a teacher for unified school district, you may also include head-starts! and children centers for unified school district. Teaching has variati! ons you may first start at a school for six hours and no benefits, and then later after the degree you may earn more units while working for unified and make up to four thousand a month. You may become a director, open your own business etc, But in actuality you need to know the qualifications of the school or center to determine if the jobs are equal, some jobs want only 12 units and some require experience and degree and 401k and insurance for you and family and continuing education. You need to opt for the one that require higher limitations and they will pay more and be more beneficial in the long run. Usually the day care centers that are home based pay more lower, and have no benefits. They consider you a pre school teacher also, with 12 units, and others require level 400 classes and a bachelors degree, who in your estimation would be more beneficial for the child?...Show more

Why does higher education in the U.S. seem to lower intelligent thinking?
Vince Delarge: Tell that to the African students that were burnt up in a college dorm in China.
Miguel Koczela: Maalox or Tums.
Tory Clapper: They execute anyone that steps out of line. They dominate other races so there is no problems. Haven't you been watching what the Chinese are doing to the Muslim Chinese? Sheesh
Brock Anwar: Well Locutius.. you should be familiar with the collective....I think that not only higher education, but the entire system, encourages stagnant rigid thinking and it locks it's students into looking at things in one way.I find that students who have studied in other countries / systems tend to have a more flexible approach to things and manage to think not only outside the box, but off the pallet too....Show more

Rachell Meese: Keep it light. You don't want to be vomiting a whole sandwich or something that might burn coming back up.
Paul Maymi: It is not the students fa! ult...it is because of Liberal tenured professors (Ward Churchill) teaching them their personal and political philosophies and treating it as the gospel. Student are discouraged from engaging the professor with differing ideas for fear of failing the class. Solution is to review tenured teachers every couple of years and get rid of the ones who don't make the grade. And, unfortunately there are those that do not have any business going to college in the first place..contrary to popular Liberal belief not everyone can make the grade and it is doing them a diservice later in life by just passing them....Show more
Tamatha Neubaum: Maybe lowering the requirements to actually pass tests had something to do with it.It was the mid to late 80s umm 86 maybe that ACT tests were made easier and SAT tests were around that time as well. If it's too difficult a task, too many young people just don't want to be bothered with it. Of course, there are some serious, disciplined scholars in colleges in the US, but there are also a lot of deadbeats who are only there because they want that higher paycheck that they think they will automatically earn by getting a college diploma (NOT "college education", "college diploma"- see the difference?). As a result of this attitude, schools seem to be dumbing down their curriculum to suit the students. ! Benny Stehno: They can put their trailers on barges and lash them together and make their own floating island.
Hyo Hardell: It is a misconception that there is no racism in China. China is not made up of "Chinese". There are lots of Chinese ethnic groups and there is discrimination. About 90% of China's population belong to a ethnic group known as the Han, and within them are further subgroups. In addition to the Han, there are the Zhuang, Manchu, Hui, Tibetans, Mongols, and Uyghurs, just to name a few! The Hui practice Islam and actually don't eat pork (which is the most commonly eaten meat in the whole country). Many of these groups speak their own languages in addition to the common Mandarin Chinese. Mongols, speak Mongolian, Uyghurs speak Uyghur, etc. During my time in China, I saw discrimination against Tibetans, Hui, and Uyghurs. These groups are mainly centered in Western/Northwest China and some are definitely not recognized by the government. Whenev! er you hear about protests in Xinjiang province, they usually involve Uyghurs. Remember all the protests in Tibet before the Olympics? Remember people got killed? I was at the unveiling of the Tibetan railway and there was discrimination going on. Tibetans couldn't get near the ceremony (I mean, I couldn't watch the ceremony either, to be fair), and some of the Chinese I was with (they were Han) told me to 'be careful" because "Tibetans like to carry knives and stab you". Absolutely ridiculous statements. China definitely discriminates. There is a definite preference towards Hans. When I was there, if you were a Han, you were definitely considered fantastic, you could definitely brag about it, and you generally could think of yourself as better than the rest of the ethnic groups. I think this viewpoint comes from a lack of social evolution. After all - wasn't the US the same way 50 years ago? So, after reading my comments above, don't think of the Chinese as a ter! rible people. They just need time to reach the same conclusions we did! and it isn't our place to judge a culture we don't understand or push them towards a cultural change they aren't ready to make (it's the people that need to make the change, which will cascade to the government). The country is really fantastic, the people are the friendliest, most generous, and gracious I've ever met (despite what their beliefs may be), and the food is unbelievably yummy. It was a really wonderful experience.
Dawn Saha: Because the smarter you think you are, the less you feel you can be wrong. Look at our universities, you have a professor, who has all these credentials, now his or her students are young with little life experience, they look at the professor and know that if they don't please them, they'll fail, they look up to them for their knowledge and think that everything that comes out of their mouth is correct. If you were a professor, you'd get an ego too.
Rona Ising: I hear crackers and ginger ale are good for preventing vomitin! g. Whatever you eat, I would keep it light and take some aspirin afterwards.
Daren Ventrice: Yeah go to Mexico.
Damion Oleksa: China is largely made up of Chinese. Russia has plenty of race problems and even larger problems of religious discrimination. The US is the most diverse population in the world so there will naturally be a higher amount of race crimes. Even with the diversity of the US we have a pretty good track record over the last 50 years of being the most inclusive country. We still have racist but it is not the majority. Many race baiters such as Jessie Jackson, Rev Wright, Van Jones, and AL Sharpton make their fortunes by attempting to keep race tensions high. If it was not for race issues all of these guys would be nobodies.
Raleigh Lufkin: I can't eat while watching. It interferes with my presidential debate drinking game. And considering how clichéd these two blokes are, I have a sip every few seconds or so.
Valentine Michaud: Tha! t would be a matter of perception not a matter of truth. The ability t! o think in the abstract is a sign of intelligence. Its narrow thinking that dissolves the part of the brain responsible for being able to see the big picture. Those that only think inside of the box, live inside of a box.
Carmelina Enoch: Because you are uninformed.Racism is much worse outside the USA. People fight REAL WARS because some ethnic group claims ancestral rights over a particular piece of land. China has no HOPE of having a non-Chinese person in the top leadership position in their government, or probably in their government period.
Kris Otuafi: Most cons should say Romney's AZZ since they love the taste. You'd have to in order to believe the bullshit Romney is slinging.~
Willie Tun: Since you cite no instance of this happening, I would have to say no.George W. Bush graduated from Yale, and Harvard Business School (he was rejected by the foremost school of jurisprudence in the country, The University of Texas School of Law). Are you impying t! hat this education caused the dissolution of the part of his brain responsible for logical connection? How could you insult the best President of this century that way?...Show more
