Arlen Hamper: alot of cable companies have free dvr's with certain packages, or you can just buy a tivo or something coupled along with the cable package of your choice. tivo hd dvr's run around 200$, normal around 150$. you can get comcast digital cable for 60$ per month, while basic cable is 20$ per month. hi def television in 7$ extra and a dvr is 15$ extra per month.
