Irvin Guiles: You must be living in the US under the same roof for at least 2 years, you need to have bank accounts in common, etc. If you are living in Thailand then your spouse will be deported as you have breached the conditions of the spouse visa. You cannot live in different countries or even different cities within the US. You MUST be living under the same roof for at least 2 years after the date of marriage
Leisa Brodnex: If you have a bonefide marriage and for some reason you must live separately, then there is a chance that the Green Card be approved.If you plan to travel with a colleague, marry her, then leave her in the USA hoping for a Green Card while you return to live your life separately in Thailand, that arrangement smells of visa fraud so will be unlikely to be viewed as 'bone fide".
