how to make a educational board game showing the process of how ray-ban sunglasses are made.. any suggestions?

Jonathan Schlussel: 2-3 part acculumation or monoply style or candyland version;where you first acculumate stuff in loops-one for natural resources to make the glasses- resin for frame, sand/silicon for the lenses, metal ores for screws, animals skins for glass cases, etc.then another loop for the acculumation of stuff for the production-assembly line- workers, all the machinery, managament jobs, then the final loop to make the glasses- frame maker, lens maker, case maker, etc....Show more

Matt Tiry: Don't try to make the game too complicated - simple and straight forward is usually better. Often something that follows the format of Trivial Pursuit can work. You can arrange various activities such as putting tasks in the correct order, giving definitions, and some "true" or "false" questions. These links have a ton of information about making board games, and should help you put it all together in a way that makes sense.http://blogs.msdn.com/templates/archive/200! 8/03/13...http://www.ehow.com/how_2046016_make-board-game.ht...http://www.ehow.com/how_2151158_math-facts-board-g...http://www.ehow.com/how_2130459_own-board-game-pro...http://www.sloperama.com/advice/lesson20.htmlhttp://www.bham.wednet.edu/departments/currdept/fa......Show more

Lupe Sancen: for ages 14-15

Bruce Calise: It depends on what age group you are targeting. You may want to incorporate English grammar questions into the process explanations. For example;Active and Passive.Ray bans are made by americans. (Passive)Americans make Ray Bans (Active)Link words or sequencers. Firstly, next, then, afterwards, finally. You could jumble up the process leaving the players to unravel it using the link words.Use lots of photos, and illustrations and get players to describe them.Make the game a quest to acquire parts, raw materials, money (bank loans) and machinery to make them, culminating in organising a fashion show to sell them to the general public. So, to con! clude, maybe on the board a map of the world. Dice and counte! rs move around the world buying the things you need.Monopoly style community chest cards with general knowledge, English Grammar questions to get bonus points, extra spaces etc.Good luck. Hope it's a success....Show more
