Davina Shindler: It makes sense to raise the age so there will be less outlay for the program. It will allow the cancer to set in and then they can deny coverage for the cancer patient later. This allows dems to line thier pockets twice.
Gwenda Micheals: As it is now the Medical formula for screening Breast cancer is to herd as many woman in for screening to make a profit .
Patricia Dornbos: Edward, if your comment made sense, it would be helpful.
Wilbert Shellgren: This is just more of the same. The quality of care will have to go down to cover those who currently do not have insurance.
Valentine Willinger: this is bad stuff. you KNOW its bad when UK reps are telling us "dont do it!"
Sammy Kar: Since when did elementary schools have detention? That's typically a Middle-school thing.
Charlotte Bryar: What does an elementary school teacher really bring to the table ?most spend their days writing detention slips for chewing gum and runn! ing in the hall...
Leann Villalta: There is Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. All these days center around Jesus Christ.
Cierra Gadbaw: Is there anything that prohibits the women from using the insurance they have now, or getting an exam on their own?The policy covers women who don't have insurance now. Even a bad coverage is better than no coverage for someone without coverage.
Donte Liversedge: And note that breast cancer is most common in the older who tend to be hit worst by the 'rationed' side of 'national' health care, would already see medicare and medicaid cut, as Obama wants to do, and are nearing the end of their working lives and salaries (if they aren't past that) with social security due to go bankrupt.
Joie Kemmis: Theyve always been protected. Why are you crying now in the real world?
Nona Lentini: Your teachers did such a lousy job, you could probably file a lawsuit against them and win.
Truman Biby: Why do these other thi! ngs deserve official recognition but not Jesus, who this count! ry was founded on?
Coleman Ocegueda: If your complaint wasn't completely disingenuous, I'd consider it.
Amina Motzer: I am not surprised at all. And it really p!sses me off. Who the f is anyone to tell me how many times I can have my boobs screened for cancer. This is just another example of how Obama sucks.
Jestine Osumi: Health Care should also cover breast cancer screening
Idell Syed: I don't take the NTU blog too seriously. And, my health insurance already delayed my ability to get a mammogram, despite an extensive family history of breast cancer. They overrode my doctors requests 9 years in a row. I had to pay out of pocket, every one of those years, except for the one time I went to a free breastest screening. Anything would be better than the lousy control the HMO's have over our health. My HMO also denied my claim for a cone biopsy. It was pre-cancerous. I had to pay that out of pocket too. If I wasn't able to pay out of pocket ($6458 f! or the procedure alone, never mind the tests), I would likely have cancer eating my body right now. Pretending the current system works is delusional....Show more
Hans Sachetti: Sunshine, don't you understand that the entire plan will be covered by the HMO rationing mentality, only with more discretion for the rationers because there will be no true competition? Who do you think will be in charge? Certainlynot you and your doctor.Look up Ron Paul's plan.
Leisa Brodnex: ranger, yes, the fact that many struggle to pay for insurance now, and through a variety of taxes, including tax on employer health care coverage, would at that time also be forced to pay for ObamaCare, whether they use it or not. You think some fraction of the population can't afford coverage now, how many do you think can afford to pay TWICE?
Azzie Trembly: We have a President who has Never done Anything in His whole life.
Hans Sachetti: What 'real world experience' prepares one ! to teach a math or history class?
Robt Betker: Hi, Pl. note that ! medical tests are not age basis , mamoagram can be done for younger women also. A breast lump is usually first detected by a woman on self examination. This procedure should be regularly done by all women over the age of 40 years. In this procedure, the woman lies down, raises the arm on the side of the breast and feels the breast with the other hand. Any difference from in the normal feel of the breast is noted. The woman may then look at herself in the mirror and note any changes in the shape and size of her breasts. Any change should be brought to the doctorâs notice. The doctor may palpate or feel the breast for any unusual lumps or any other signs. In case a lump is detected by the doctor, mammography may be done. This is a special X-ray of the breast. It can detect early breast cancers and gives a fairly accurate picture of any changes in the breast. Any spots that show up in the mammogram are then further analysed by a biopsy. In this procedure, a small part of the! lump tissue is taken for laboratory testing. The biopsy can also be done in many ways. In some cases, a small needle may be inserted into the lump and a small portion of the fluid may be taken. In another form of biopsy, a small cut may be made on the breast to get to the lump, a piece of which is then taken for testing. In some cases, the entire lump may be removed. The procedure followed is decided by the doctor keeping in mind the patientâs history. In case cancer of the breast is confirmed, other tests may be done to look for spread of the disease. These include blood tests, X-rays and ultrasound scan of the abdomen. In some cases a bone scan may be done....Show more
Mandy Mustaro: The New World Order has no need of the weak and vulnerable. Why allow a woman to pass on a genetic strain (the tendency toward breast cancer) to her descendents, who will also need similar treatment as will their descendents, and so on. This will weed out such ongoing problems. Th! is will also apply to "unnecessary" tests and treatment for the elderly! . All part of the Obama Plan to save us $313 billion.
Luis Farlow: There are free health screenings available now, does all of that go away too? He has no respect for the older generation just like the rest of the Dems. They only use them to get what they want in the elections then throw them away!
Randa Hessell: Women are equal to dogs where he comes from.
Providencia Serpe: Left of Center, I haven't looked at these details of the plan, but this group says it has. Have you?
Toby Caswell: I've heard all of the White Power arguments and I feel your pain. So, how do we make this equitable for everyone? There are already more blacks in prison today than there were in South Africa at the height of Apartheid. So what is it, besides genocide and rape, that we can do to help our beleaguered proud white men and women?
Damaris Weiler: It's called a degree. Let go of your anger, hate and jealousy and deal with the fact that you will NEVER have what i! t takes to be a teacher.
Ilana Gaster: i'm sure there are black homosexual sharks out there that are also Christian so I guess they would agree.
Luke Gacusan: What an administration, the leading killer and they don't want to cover it. You know the old saying an once of prevention is worth a pound of medicine. it's a no brainer, the minimum cost vs treatment.I believe people are going to be in for a shock as it is not free and the people who don't have it now and taking a chance may not have the cash to buy it. I am trying to figure out the kickback angle on it like the tarp to AIG. There has go to be a big money catch I am missing. You know Paul would want them done, he is not a idiot and also a doctor. Maybe Obama should hire a doctor czar....Show more
Charissa Bichsel: People are dieing in the VA system, befcaues we give them health care, but we never real promise them reasonable halth care. We cut cost so they can see a doctor, but not really treat! them all (Even for the illnesses caused by the military). The whole p! rogram is not about improving the health care on average, but to give an impression that all would get some kind of health care. Obama's plan would diminish the middle class health care so the poor can see a doctor for a cold....Show more
Alma Twomey: Umm, what is Christmas? Why is that the longest federal holiday? If I am not mistaken, the only holiday in February (black history mo.) is Presidents' Day celebrating two white men (Lincoln and Washington).
Aron Ramu: The country was not founded on Jesus or Judeo-Christian ideology at all. And Gays/Blacks were and are highly discriminated against, whereas Christianity has been left to thrive in America. And Shark Week is not officially recognized. The founders were trying to eschew any and all relations to England when they founded our country - England had an established religion in the Anglican Church - and that's part of why we have the separation of church and state as we do. Yes, some founders were Christia! ns. But other were Atheists, Deists, Agnostics. Maybe even one of Jewish descent, haha. But America was not founded on Jesus....Show more
Catheryn Barringer: Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin and some other founding fathers were Diests not Christains. This country was not founded on Jesus.
Romana Stiman: How about quit killing, stealing and raping people...that's a start. Then go get a job and quit applying for welfare.
Colby Millberg: Barry is trying to jam this through at breakneck speed while he has the votes in Congress to assure its passage.Of course health care will suffer
Marjory Stromme: Because his name is not Jesus it is Yeshua, and all who believe in Christ should dedicate everyday to him.Christmas and Easter are Pagan Holidays introduced into Christianity by the Romans, and it is no wonder that these holidays are dominated by other themes such as the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus....Show more
Asa Soho: who cares? who cares about hal! f of the population's life is at risk? I care.I know of people in offic! e who dont care.
Sena Highman: Oh, I didn't realize that Jesus signed the Declaration of Independence. Can you point his signature out to me? The founding fathers were deists, some were Christians, but not all. There are many quotes that you can look at that prove that the founding fathers were not Christian. The bible never talks about democracy or free societies. The bible never talks about civil rights. The Constitution does however, (and Thomas Jefferson wrote about), talk about a separation of church and state. And a Jesus month seems like an establishment of religion. I don't know why you don't understand that the best way to protect your right to freedom of religion is to protect everyone's rights to have their own religion, or to be free from it....Show more
Bell Pasco: The other answers have already provided you with examples of Christian holidays we already have in America. However, you're confusing ethnic/cultural traditions with religions. Th! e nation and various states/localities choose to celebrate certain cultural traditions belonging to some of their citizens in order to recognize those who were often ignored or even discriminated against in the past. Thus, there's the Year of the Woman or Year of the Child but no Year of the Billionaires or Year of the Corporate CEO's!!...Show more
Danica Timperman: First of all, this country wasn't founded on Jesus. The framers of the U.S. Constitution took great pains to ensure that the citizens of this nation would never be forced to accept one nationalized religion. While many of them were Christian believers, they also were believers in a pluralistic society. They were determined that we should not be forced to live in a theocracy. Most people get off work for Christmas and/or Easter (as many others have correctly pointed out). How many nationally recognized holidays do you need? Besides, if you are familiar with the teachings of Jesus, I seriously doubt he! would want anything like a 'Jesus Week'. But that's just my opinion..! ..Show more
Frank Gazaway: huh?
Giovanna Sherlin: You can read the concepts and teach the concepts to others. But they can't demonstrate. If you had a wood shop or home economics teacher, they not only knew something, they could actually do something too. Most teachers learned their subjects high school and college, then at age 22 start teaching it to other kids. Then they teach from the same lesson plan for 30 years, then retire to Costa Rica. It's a terrible system that doesn't work....Show more
Darren Heling: Sound like Right Wing Lies and propaganda to me .It's such a ridiculous read that it make no sense to anyone with a 7th grade education..
Donald Caravalho: Because, there is 52 weeks in a year. And most "religious" people go to church every Sunday. That makes 52 days. Plus the other 3-30 days depending on if you're catholic or not. So you actually get 50-80 days of Jesus. Also consider that you can "worship" any day you want. So it c! ould actually be 364-365 days of Jesus.
Elvie Drumgoole: I believe that most people don't really view it as 'segregating' but much rather a pride. Because black history month is honoring the African-Americans who in fact changed those segregation laws. Black History month is very important and honorable to many of the young African-American kids out there, they actually look up to it. Schools do projects and worksheets that educate the students about Black History month so all in all, it's something that makes them proud. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation or celebrating the African-Americans just cause they're different. Peace xx...Show more
Vernon Martorana: How can someone who's never done anything be elected president of the USA?
Susan Rambo: Not that I'd favor this but, imagine all that money had been spent on turning out more doctors, nurses, pharmaceutical engineers and other desperately needed professionals. I dare say that, in the meanti! me, laws concerning LEGAL immigration of med-pro's would increase compe! tition, improve quality and kick those current exorbitant costs in their proverbial teeth. The worst thing we can do, now, is permit the government to pay the going rate. ......Show more
