Craig Virani: The new trailing roses are nice; Euryops (daisies) are good ones (continous bloomer);
Giovanni Malool: Marigolds. Plant them, water them once in a while and they flower pretty much all summer.
Hilma Pestano: In sun or shade? The ground cover roses are nice f! or sunny spots, Dicentra is nice for shade.
Keven Drumgole: I know this may sounds silly but there is a lot of cactus family out there. they do come in different shapes and colors. They are very low maintenance and needs only a bit of watering/ Also I LOVE the money tree (braided trunk/branch), also low maintenance and can withstand a lot of water if you ever over water.

Alexandria Popik: Bougainvilleas are beautiful and can get enormous. It might be a little picky at first when it's roots are settling, but once it takes off they're gorgeous. Baby's breath is cake too. I planted mine and it's taking over and it has really pretty white flowers all over it. If you live in the right area, tulips are pretty easy. They don't last too long, but when they do bloom, they're SO pretty. If you ever wanted a veggie garden, cabbage, peas and corn are stupid easy to grow.
Marcelle Vanlith: Any type o! f Hosta, there very nice looking, very hardy and you can multi! ply them easily.
Chris Wilczewski: These are plants that come back every year and easy care. Rhododendron is always green and in spring has pretty flowers, its bush like. Azalea nice spring flowers also bush like. Daisy, Hosta, Stonecrop, most Roses and Cone flowers. Have fun in the garden.

Day lily, lily of the Nile, Asian Lillie's, they are drought tolerant require only to plant with some manure, fertilize once or twice while blooming,mulch around them and you can either let them stay in the ground and overwinter with 4"more or mulch to protect and take it off come Spring and your bulbs will bloom again. Some people dig them up in fall and store the bulbs dry till the following Spring. Very hardy and beautiful!
Ty Kirton: I agree with the poster who said hostas. My dad had a bunch of them before he passed aawy, and they came in many shades of green, and were easy to look after, just water them every now and again, and htey are! so easy!

Donte Liversedge: Knockout Roses are beautiful, hardy and do not require alot of work. They are disease resitant and ins! ect resistant compared to other roses.
Gilberto Cratin: i am also! in Illinois! woo hoo! depends on what kind of plant you like Petunias are very low maintenance and come in lots of colors. but you have to replant them every year.. you can also plant Hostas.. they get very hardly and come back year after year.. there are different kinds of those.
